This term room12 has been learning how to juggle. To juggle, the first thing you do is to start with one ball and throw it from one hand to the other. Then you go to two balls and throw them up one at a time, but you have to throw the second ball when the fist ball gets to the middle and don't worry about caching them. When you have practice that try to caching them. Click on the link to see our animoto Juggling

Mahunga, pakahiwi, puku, hope, wae wae

We had to teach room5 how to do it. My buddy learnt it really fast. After we had taught them Mrs Parkinson called out one of the maori words and they had to point to it on their body.

plurals
This term room12 has been working on plurals. Plurals are nouns that are more than one thing. So the noun child becomes children. If the word ends with a y you change the y into ies and if it is a f you change the f into a ves. If there is a val beefor the y you just add as at the end. You have to do this because it is how the word is spelt.
Here are some plurals....
- elf = elves
- valley = valleys
- navy = navies
- loaf = loaves
